In 1997, even Bruce Campbell gained ownership of Herbie, in a made-for-TV movie. Since his debut in 1968, Herbie has made an appearance almost every decade. The weirdly-alive little VW Bug would often find himself bringing people together, while often involved in some form of racing, and caught in the crosshairs of a not-to-happy human being, who often wanted him disassembled.
